Filtered Thoughts!

When we consider that from our birth and maybe even before, the intelligent part of us was experiencing our environment, thinking about the experiences, observing which actions caused what effect and formulating beliefs or rules that would, from then on, run our lives, we can see that our thoughts have contributed significantly to whom we are now. Furthermore, as we grew we observed others, interacted with those close to us, listened to their beliefs and sometimes adopted these into the “road rules of life”. We have gradually formulated, and from there, built up a system of beliefs, expectations and interactions based on these observations. While children, our filters were open, less critical and more accepting than as adults. Therefore it was possible that we accepted half-truths, misunderstandings and experiences, which were taken out of context and formed the foundation of our personal laws for survival, success and happiness.

Should some of your beliefs tend toward the negative, then it would not surprise me that you may be suffering health problems, relationship problems, financial problems, or just general areas of dissatisfaction with your life. It is not for me or anyone else to judge what is right or wrong with your life, nor is your own critical judgement about your life beneficial. Set aside right now all self criticism and view the past with feelings of gratitude, because it is these experiences that create the wisdom to support you now and provide the springboard for your intuitive development.

As it is possible to create energy through Statements, then it is also possible that our thoughts create chemical reactions in our bodies which can affect our health, vitality and intellectual processes. Because our statements and thoughts do affect the very essence of our existence, then it is important that we take particular care to create within ourselves the best possible thoughts, beliefs and attitudes to empower us to receive all the prosperity that is waiting to be poured into our lives.

Anxiety

Anxiety arises from a feeling of emptiness. If you will be fully aware of the emptiness, without resistance, and without wishing to escape it, it turns into something new. But have no desire to experience the newness; simply be aware of the emptiness from himself is secretly terrified by the question, “But what can I find to do next?” again, an alert awareness of this condition is a fine start toward destroying both the painful throb and the artificial activities.

It is good to hear that consciousness has the power to destroy pressures of which we are unaware. They are able to bother us only because we are unconscious of their existence. The vast majority of pressures are like sea mines below the surface of the water, which blows up unwary ships. One unseen anxiety is the idea of being cheated out of the good fortune enjoyed by others. We look enviously at the man with a higher salary or longer vacation, and feel cheated. Awareness frees us from that form of self-torture.

Let me give you a surprising and quite revealing experiment. The next time someone tells you how anxious and worried he is, reply, “The situation may be exactly as you describe it, but tell me why should you anxious over it?” I guarantee that if he really hears your question, it will startle him. He may answer you, but in no case will it be a calm, accurate, or realistic answer. His reply will be emotional and he may splutter, frown, or sigh.

His answer will not be realistic because, in reality, there is no reason why he could be anxious. There just isn’t, even if he doesn’t see it. That is why he must give you a non-realistic reply, based on his confused emotions and false ideas about life.

This is the exact lession taught by Jesus, Lao-tse, Socrates, and every other advanced teacher. Be anxious over nothing. Take this as if it means exactly what it says: “Be anxious over nothing.”

Super Mind VS Conditioned Mind

Supermind: The definition of Supermind is not complex; it is simple. It is the mental faculty which is above and beyond conditioned human thoughts. It is the same thing as awareness, consciousness, esoteric thinking or higher self. It is what and Eastern mystic would call the silent mind, or what New Testament calls the Kingdom of Heaven within. It is your true self. Quite simple, it is the force within every man that is as high above the ordinary mind as the sky is above the earth. The Supermind is free of all negative thinking and conditioning. It has no fear, no painful craving, no doubts. It is a way to the spiritual world.

Conditioned Mind: It is that part of us which has been influenced and molded since birth. It is an acquired mass of opinions, beliefs, contradictions, and mechanical reactions, all of which get us into trouble.
